Esta prática tem um impacto profundo no sistema nervoso, activando a função do sistema nervoso parassimpático – responsável por acalmar o organismo no seu todo, promovendo o seu descanso, cura e equilíbrio.

Nas aulas restaurativas os alunos fazem menos posturas, que são mantidas durante mais tempo, e para favorecer essa permanência, são usados materiais de suporte, inventados pelo Mestre Iyengar, tais como bolsters, cobertores, cintos, cadeiras e cordas.

Vamos desacelerar, relaxando o corpo a mente e a alma.

This special Restorative class aims the deeper relaxation of the body and mind.

This practice has a profound impact on the nervous system, activating the function of the parasympathetic nervous system – responsible for calming the organism as a whole, promoting its rest, healing and balance.

In this type of class there are fewer postures that are maintained for a longer time, and to favour this permanence, support materials are used, invented by Master Iyengar, such as bolsters, blankets, belts, chairs and ropes.
